Please help me support a very worthy cause, The International Dyslexia Association.
About 1 in 10 people are Dyslexic and there is a lot we need to do, around the world, to help them get the support they need.
I am going to take part in a DyslexiaDash and need motivation, please consider helping me by donating.

I am going to run for the first time since school! I want to raise money for the International Dyslexia Association, they suport people with Dyslexia all over the world and are a very worthy cause.
All around the world there are children and adults going through hell at the moment. About 10 in a 100 children are Dyslexic. They have to face a life of frustration and failure, if they don’t get the correct help.
The International Dyslexia Association is trying to do something about this. With the right assessment and education these children/adults can have wonderfull lives and contribute enormously to their families and society.
I am taking part in a wonderful scheme.
An informal mentoring scheme, run in conjunction with the British Dyslexia association, Cass Business School, City University London, and Dyslexia Scotland, will link adults with dyslexia with successful dyslexic people who will share the benefit of their experience and knowledge. On a Mac, to print with no colour management (which is especially useful when profiling the printer).
Chose “ColorSync” and then select the “GenericRGB” profile.
Also have a look at this if you use Snow Leopard and Photoshop CS4 it is vital if you want to print a profile target without any color management.
This is great, it shows you what speed and which broadband provider ISP your neighbours have on a map.
Finally we might be able to start making some educated guesses as to exactly how fast our service will go when we pay for it!
Please have a go and make this a really great tool.
If you want to have different setup for php on the command line: add a file called php-cli.ini This will be used by php from the command line, if it is not present it will use php.ini.
This foxed me for a while, HP scan software is not uninstalled on update to Snow Leopard, it just stops working. Have a look at:

If you are getting
mysql_connect() http://function.mysql-connect: 2002 No such file or directory (trying to connect via unix:///tmp/mysql.sock)"
Then you probably need to modify the “mysql.default_socket” value in your /etc/php.
With Mac XAMPP I set it to:
mysql.default_socket = /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/var/mysql/mysql.sock
in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/etc/php.ini.
This might be a good time to check the correct php is going to run from the command line, by default it will run the Apple supplied php not the XAMPP one. So I put:
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin
at the top of the /etc/paths file
